Terms of Service

Last updated 13 August 2026

These terms cover your use of Echofy. By creating an account you agree to them.

What Echofy does

Echofy watches the sources you connect, detects repeated questions, and drafts checklists for a human to approve. It answers your team using only checklists that someone on your team has approved, and every answer cites the checklist it came from.

What Echofy does not do

Echofy generates drafts with an AI model, and AI output can be wrong. The approval step exists precisely because of this: you are responsible for what you approve. Once approved, a checklist will be served to your team as guidance. Do not approve a checklist you have not read.

Echofy is not a system of record, a compliance tool, or a substitute for professional advice.

Your account

  • You must have the authority to connect the workspaces and repositories you connect.
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. Two-factor authentication is available in your profile and we recommend enabling it.
  • You must not use Echofy to break the law, or to breach the terms of Slack, GitHub, Google, Microsoft or Discord.

Plans and payment

  • Solo is free, and limited to one channel or repository per source and ten approved checklists.
  • Team is $9.99 for the first month, then $20/mo per workspace.
  • Studio is $73.99 for the first month, then $100/mo.

Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled. The discount applies to the first month only, and the renewal price is shown before you pay. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Plan & billing; access continues to the end of the period you have paid for. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial months.

If a payment fails, we keep your account active while Stripe retries the card. If it ultimately fails, the account returns to the Solo plan and its limits.

Your content

Your messages and checklists remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the service: to store that content, send it to the Gemini API for detection and drafting, and serve approved checklists back to your team.

Cancellation and deletion

You may stop using Echofy at any time. Disconnecting a source permanently deletes that workspace's stored data, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Liability

Echofy is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss arising from acting on an approved checklist.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will email the address on your account before it takes effect. Continuing to use Echofy after that means you accept the change.
